Your image to go with the Haiku is also stunning. They work together beautifully.
I am curious about the painting that is your header. It is rich and lively and invites me to read whatever you post on the page!
My kindergarten students created the mural with instruction from our school’s artist in residence. She took a photo from Kitsalano beach with a view to downtown Vancouver. We still have to add in the buildings.
What a gorgeous photo. That’s the part of winter I liked…especially on a Sunday. The melty, dirty stuff that happens by Wed isn’t as appealing.
That painting made by your kinders is amazing! You must have an amazing artist in residence.
Yes! I love how snow covers everything and makes it clean and new!

EwwW! Winter, still?!? It sounds like you enjoy it, but I sure do not miss winter, although your poem makes it sound nice.
